Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a meticulous and efficient Clinical Documentation & EHR Support Specialist to ensure accurate and timely updates to patient records within their electronic health record (EHR) system. Our client is a leading healthcare technology innovator, recognized for their advancements in EHR optimization and commitment to improving patient care workflows. They have successfully streamlined clinical documentation processes for hundreds of healthcare providers, enhancing efficiency and accuracy across the board.


Responsibilities
  • Review and summarize discharge documentation to extract key patient information.

  • Update patient problem lists in the EHR system based on clinical records.

  • Input current medications for provider review and approval.

  • Verify and maintain accurate primary care provider (PCP) and preferred pharmacy details.

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth documentation workflows.

  • Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.



Requirements
  • Prior experience with EHR systems, preferably AMD.

  • Background in healthcare documentation, medical assisting, or clinical data entry.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret medical terminology.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
