Purpose of the role
We’re looking for a Marketing Designer to join the marketing team at Aveni. You may have been a web designer, digital marketer, graphic designer, or growth hacker in a past life – ideally you’ve had past B2B marketing experience.
Graphic design will be a passion of yours and you’re able to create visuals that stand out. We’re not looking for an expert at everything, but rather for someone who has the curiosity, attitude, and tenacity to roll up their sleeves and help us create impactful visual content tailored to our key audiences.
As a Marketing Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our visual brand identity across various digital and print channels. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling visual assets that resonate with our target audience, enhance brand awareness, and drive engagement.
You’ll be reporting to the CMO and will get a chance to interface with lots of different teams and people in the company across business development, product and customer success.
Key responsibilities
Conceptualise, design, and produce a wide range of marketing materials, including but not limited to: digital ads, social media graphics, infographics, presentations, brochures, case studies and more.
Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and translate marketing strategies into visually captivating designs.
Designing, building, and iterating experiences for our website.
Lead design of marketing collateral across brand, advertising, and CRM communications.
Monitor traffic and improve lead conversion rates on our marketing sites from a design perspective.
Manage the daily editorial design for Aveni for sales enablement, social, and other content channels.
Create and maintain a consistent brand identity across all visual assets, adhering to brand guidelines and design standards.
Stay updated with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continually elevate the quality and effectiveness of our design work.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide innovative design ideas to contribute to campaign planning and execution.
Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and team members to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met with the highest level of quality.
Assist in the development and maintenance of design templates and assets that streamline the creative process.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 2 years’ B2B digital design experience, with a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field. You will be skilled with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and have experience with Figma (ie, you can speak both raster and vector). Marketing software like Hubspot, Zapier etc. comes easy to you and you’ll have some experience with Midjourney / Dall-E etc. at writing prompts for AI.
You’re output-focused (you get things done) with a strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques. You’ll have the ability to translate marketing objectives into visually compelling designs that resonate with target audiences. You’re an excellent communicator and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and translate feedback into design improvements. You’re detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual consistency and brand integrity. You possess strong time management and organisational skills and are capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Your portfolio showcases a diverse range of design projects that highlight creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills. Experience with motion graphics, video editing, and UI/UX design is a plus.
