Core Tasks:
Manage various compliance tasks for customers, vendors, and employees
Keep updated records on and track vendor/customer certifications & insurance policies
Proactively request updated policies and certifications prior to renewal / expiration
Review customer and vendor policies for exclusions and escalate accordingly
Manage the onboarding of new vendors by collecting and filing relevant info and docs
Review contracts and manage the update and filing process
Prep contracts for signature and / or review
Track job site safety cards (level, expiry dates, etc) for all vendors and their contractors
Identify and fix OSHA compliance certificate deficiencies coordinate training as needed
Ensure job site compliance with customers
Onboard new employees and manage company HRIS
Track company assets and ensure compliance on work vehicles and equipment
Create & improve processes/systems to improve visibility and accountability for compliance-related tasks
Requirements
Must-Haves:
3+ years of experience working as a lawyer or paralegal with a strong background in compliance, corporate law, or regulatory affairs
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
Experience conducting audits and risk assessments, and developing policy
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality
Intermediate - advanced skills with Excel or Google Sheets
Nice-to-Haves:
Hands-on experience working as a company compliance or HR officer
In-depth knowledge of United States OSHA (or other compliance certificates), EPA, and / or labor laws
Certifications in compliance or risk management (e.g., CCEP, CRCM, OSHA 30)
