SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support an opportunity remotely.

POSITION OVERVIEW SECTION

This effort includes tasks and activities to be performed by the contractor to support the USAFSAM Aerospace Medicine Consultation Division specifically to support clinical and operational data analysis.

Essential Job Functions

Web Application & Predictive Analytics Development

Assist in developing a web application that hosts a suite of predictive analytics tools

Technical Proficiency & Demonstrations

Demonstrate ability to:
- Write production-ready code
- Independently develop functional web applications
- Visualize data clearly and effectively
- Visualize hierarchical data structures (e.g., trees, graphs)

Compliance & Training

Obtain HIPAA training upon starting work
Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and prevent data leaks or unauthorized disclosures

Qualifications

Minimum Position Requirements

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience with Python
- Minimum 3 years of experience with JavaScript
Technical Skills:
- Experience with the Scrum process
- Experience with Git source control
- Experience with UNIX-based systems
- Experience with basic networking concepts, including OSI layers 3 & 4 (Network & Transport layers)
Security & Compliance:
- Signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) provided to the Government Program Manager before the start of performance (due to potential exposure to confidential or sensitive information)

Highly Desired Qualifications

Experience collaborating with data scientists to build advanced AI-powered dashboards
Experience with Flask (Python web-serving framework)
Experience with SQLAlchemy (Python ORM for databases)
Experience with HTML/CSS
Experience in web application development in any capacity
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
