SecOps Engineer

Description

We are looking for a SecOps Engineer to join our Security & DevOps team. If you’re passionate about security engineering, automation, and securing cloud-native SaaS environments at scale, Mend offers the opportunity to make an immediate and visible impact. In this role, you’ll work closely with R&D, DevOps, and IT teams to design secure solutions, manage security tools and processes, and help safeguard Mend's infrastructure and development lifecycle.

Location: Remote (Home Office) – Poland

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Monitor infrastructure and application logs for anomalies
• Ensure secure configurations for cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Harden CI/CD pipelines and enforce least-privilege principles
• Manage and triage findings from SAST/DAST/SCA tools
• Collaborate with Engineering on vulnerability remediation and secure design reviews
• Support audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.) with evidence and control ownership
• Enforce security policies across infrastructure and development processes

Requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Security Engineering or SecOps role — Must!
• Experience in securing public cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure)
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scanners
• Understanding of modern SaaS architecture, container orchestration, and Kubernetes security controls
• Proven ability to drive cross-team initiatives and collaborate with developers and operations teams on secure software delivery
• Experience supporting security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST is an advantage
• Location: Remote (Home Office) – Poland
