Exusia/Globant, a global digital transformation consultancy, is looking for top talent to join our Data Management and Governance practice supporting strategic initiatives at one of our premier financial services clients in the Capital Markets space.
What’s the Role?
This is a full-time consulting opportunity with Exusia/Globant to support with one of our largest clients in the Global Banking and Capital Markets industry on their enterprise data governance and IT controls initiatives. The role involves leading documentation and testing of data controls across capital markets applications, identifying gaps, and driving automation of control processes. The consultant will collaborate with various stakeholders across data governance, risk, finance, and technology functions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead documentation and testing of IT data controls across capital markets applications.
· Identify gaps in control coverage and propose remediation strategies aligned with regulatory and enterprise standards.
· Drive automation and improvement of controls testing and reporting using data tools and technologies.
· Collaborate with stakeholders including data stewards, technology owners, and risk teams to ensure robust control adherence.
· Provide visibility to leadership on testing coverage and control maturity.
· Develop SOPs, process documentation, and support data quality initiatives.
· Use modern collaboration tools to manage project documentation, issue tracking, and knowledge repositories.
Mandatory Skills:
· 6-12+ years of experience in data governance, lineage, IT controls, or data quality initiatives within Capital Markets or Financial Services.
· In depth understanding of the Capital Markets domain including front-to-back trade lifecycle, especially in relation to operations, finance, and risk.
· Experience with testing automation frameworks
· Programming and automation experience leveraging scripting languages such Python
· Strong communication and client stakeholder management experience.
· Solid data management and data warehousing background with data profiling and SQL experience
· Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Proficiency in tools such as Collibra, Alation, Ab Initio, Tableau, Confluence, JIRA, MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio.
· Ability to work well in a team environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
· Familiarity with database structures, data modeling, and lineage.
· Exposure to AI, ML, and Data Engineering
· Experience using or integrating data governance platforms.
· Prior consulting experience in Capital Markets.
· Client and internal leadership experience
· Experience working with a global team using onshore/offshore model
