Description

The Associate Business Analyst is charged with helping improve processes and efficiency throughout the Wiland APP and partner ecosystem.  Reporting to a senior leader within the Data Governance & Corporate Development division, this role participates in multiple, diverse, prioritized enhancements or projects focused on delivering new or improved processes and systems that will be used by internal personnel.    

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in gathering and documenting business needs, processes, and workflows related to internal applications. Work with Management to track the frequency and/or overall impact of the issue.  Advocate for changes that will have the biggest impact.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories, functional requirements, and non-functional expectations in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders.
  • Develop an understanding of the organization’s structure, policies, and operations to help recommend solutions for process improvement and business planning.
  • Work alongside the Quality Assurance team to test and validate that solutions meet business and functional requirements.
  • Support the triage and resolution of urgent production issues with the Product Team, Production Support, Operations, or other relevant groups as needed.
  • Conduct  data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions and recommendations.
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Product Management, or a related field.  Must be able to produce college transcripts showing a minimum of 3.0 GPA, if applicable.
  • 1-2 years of product management and/or business analysis experience in a software environment is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a curiosity for understanding business needs.
  • Basic knowledge of business or systems analysis.
  • Experience in creating user stories, functional specifications, and process documentation is a plus.
  • Experience with Direct Marketing and Database Marketing preferred.
  • Knowledge of User Experience best practices is helpful. 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Location: Remote
  • Department: Corporate Development & Data Governance
  • Compensation Range: $58,000 - $77,000. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component.
