What will your role look like?

As a Communications & Design Intern, you will support our communications and marketing efforts, particularly through visual content creation and social media management. This internship offers the chance to work closely with the Communications & Marketing Lead, learn from real projects, and develop your design and digital communication skills in a mission-driven environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

Design visual content using tools like Canva (e.g. social media posts, infographics, internal materials, newsletters, and other brand assets).

Support the writing, layout, and publication of press releases and blog posts.

Support in managing and planning LinkedIn content and other social media channels.

Map and maintain a comprehensive database of journalists and media contacts.

Contribute ideas for engaging formats and ways to increase visibility and reach.

Participate in media planning, idea conceptualization, and budgeting for communications campaigns.

Requirements

Must-haves

Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Completed or in-progress degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated and disciplined.
Basic knowledge of Canva or other design tools.
Familiarity with LinkedIn and basic social media best practices.
Experience with content creation or graphic design (share a portfolio or university projects if possible).
