Job description

We are looking for a Release Manager to oversee and coordinate the end-to-end software release process across multiple teams and environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical management experience, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to align infrastructure updates, release timelines, and development milestones in a structured and efficient way.

The position is fully remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the lifecycle of software releases across various environments
  • Coordinate release schedules, resources, and communications between engineering, QA, product, and operations teams
  • Monitor defect backlogs, infrastructure updates, and planned features to ensure smooth release execution
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact scope, schedule, or quality of releases
  • Conduct readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release
  • Prepare and manage deployment plans in line with release schedules
  • Provide regular weekly updates on release status and progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation for release procedures, notification lists, and dependencies
  • Ensure releases meet functional and performance expectations post-deployment
  • Take responsibility for root cause analysis (RCA) reports across all involved teams
  • Continuously improve software configuration and release management processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical management roles
  • At least 2 years of experience on similar position
  • Previous experience in iGaming / gambling domain
  • Strong programming skills and hands-on experience (desirable)
  • Solid understanding of software infrastructure and configuration management
  • Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle and deployment processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, and other tracking or documentation platforms
  • Languages proficiency: Ukrainian proficiency is a must, English at B1+ level or higher
