Senior ML/AI Engineer

We are seeking for a Senior ML/ AI Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in startups, preferably American, and a proven track record in the e-commerce sector.

The Senior ML/AI Engineer designs, implements, and maintains machine learning algorithms and models. They work with large datasets, programming languages, and machine learning frameworks. Their job involves various stages of the machine learning pipeline, including data preprocessing, model selection, and deployment. They need to have a deep understanding of statistical modeling, algorithms, and programming principles. They also develop and maintain software infrastructure that supports machine learning workflows and work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to ensure effective and aligned machine learning models.

- BS in Computer Science combined with 7+ years of experience working on web applications at scale

- 2+ years of ML/AI experience, preferably in an e-commerce environment

- A strong initiative on keeping up to date with emerging tools and technologies and opening discussion to the team on where they might be relevant

- Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions

- Strong technical skills, including experience with software development, data analysis

- Proven track record of managing complex development projects and working with cross-functional teams to success

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

- Design, implement, and maintain machine learning algorithms and models

- Work with large datasets, programming languages, and machine learning frameworks

- Perform various stages of the machine learning pipeline, including data preprocessing, feature -engineering, model selection, and deployment

- Possess a deep understanding of statistical modeling, algorithms, and programming principles

- Develop and maintain software infrastructure that supports machine learning workflows

- Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to ensure effective and aligned machine learning models

- Continuously research and implement new machine learning techniques and technologies

- Document code, models, and workflows for reproducibility and maintainability

- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to integrate machine learning solutions into production systems

- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to drive business insights and recommendations

- Discovery and personalization: Using machine learning to recommend related and complementary products based on customer search and purchase history, as well as product attributes and popularity.

- Recommendations: Developing models that provide personalized recommendations to customers based on their browsing and purchase history.

- Customer segmentation: Using machine learning to group customers into segments based on their behavior, preferences, and demographics.

- Search relevance: Developing models that improve the relevance and accuracy of search results by considering factors such as customer intent, product attributes, and popularity.

- Auto-complete and suggestions: Using machine learning to provide real-time suggestions and auto-complete options as customers type in the search bar.

- Customer service: Sentiment analysis, Customer churn prediction, Knowledge management.

- Image Generation: Text to image, image to image
