Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic startup team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive quality assurance system from the ground up. Additionally, they will design and implement automated testing strategies to ensure the reliability and functionality of our products. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and offers a chance to shape the future of our quality assurance processes.


Key Responsibilities:

•Design and implement automated testing strategies for web applications using Selenium or Cypress

•Write and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages such as Python, NodeJS, and Go Lang

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

•Debug and troubleshoot issues identified through automated testing

•Write and maintain manual test cases as needed

•Stay up-to-date with the latest QA best practices and techniques

•Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process

•Assist with the onboarding and training of new QA team members



Requirements

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

•3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer

•Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or Java

•Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium or Appium

•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues

•Excellent communication and collaboration skills

•Experience with version control systems like Git

•Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (preferred)
