This is a remote position.
You’re a business development/sales/marketing leader
You have at least 10 years experience in an agency setting, with at least 3 years leading teams
You have a proven track record of identifying and unlocking sales opportunities. You know how to reach key decision makers, and how to identify what their needs are and how to meet them.
You have extensive experience in social & digital video marketing for global brands and can be truly helpful to our clients and help them hit their marketing goals
You are not intimidated by fast paced industry changes in trends and technology. You are excited about new and creative ways to provide value to brands in a post-covid, Gen-AI world.
You are available to travel as needed to close deals, maintain/develop relationships, and sometimes work in person with your team. (likely around 20% travel).
You will identify opportunities and execute strategies to attract new clients who fit our ideal client profile.
You will evangelize Newfangled Studios in the areas of Social & Digital Video Strategy, and Creative Production within the marketing & advertising community.
You will advise potential & existing clients on best practices, trends, and media tactics within Social & Digital Video marketing
You will conduct 1:1 reach outs to introduce Newfangled Studios to potential new clients, as well as stay in touch with media partners, existing and former clients, and other strategic partnerships.
You will work in stride with the Account, Creative, and Project Management teams to craft proposals that hit client KPI’s and deliver on the Newfangled North Star.
Through your team, you will oversee the relationships of our top clients and make sure that they are getting value delivered, are happy, and are excited to return for their next project.
You will enable the team to do their best work by creating a sales culture that is powered by motivation and pride, never competition and fear.
You will ensure the team is on top of relevant trends and opportunities within Digital Video, Social, and Creative Production so they can properly advise their clients
You’ll help the account team uncover opportunities within their current accounts and hand them hot leads for new accounts
As revenue grows, you’ll use your past experiences to recruit and hire the next key hires, and to provide ongoing support, guidance, and training to the current team.
You will work with other leadership team members to formulate a strategic sales plan that strikes a balance between Newfangled’s goals for growth and cultural health.
Your industry experience will compel you to always be thinking of new market opportunities.
You will be in direct contact with operations, production, and project management teams on a daily basis to keep up to date with your client’s projects and to help mitigate any issues that may arise after the job is won.
Your team will work with stakeholders from all areas of Newfangled to constantly improve processes and remove silos.
$160,000 - $200,000 base + bonus program
