Job description

This is a remote position.

As a Cybersecurity Engineer at PaySupp, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our security posture. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions to protect PaySupp's systems and data.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Define and enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures to uphold data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Monitor systems for security breaches, investigate incidents, and recommend remediation measures.
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams to integrate security controls into our infrastructure and applications.
  • Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and technologies, proactively addressing potential risks.
  • Participate in incident response activities, providing guidance during security incidents.
  • Deliver security awareness training and workshops to promote best practices among employees.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, etc.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and scripting skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
