Job description

McLean & Company is the trusted partner of HR and leadership professionals around the world. We provide our members with everything they need to drive their organization forward and develop a thriving workforce – from full-service assessments to practical action plans, impactful training, and more.

At McLean & Company, we’re passionate about empowering our members to shape a workplace where everyone thrives. We’re also passionate about making sure our employees thrive.

McLean is a place where your voice will be heard – a place where you will see the impact of your work with our 30,000+ members. It is a place where you will find community and collaboration, flexibility, and opportunities for career advancement. You will work with diverse individuals with their own unique stories and experiences. McLean is a place where success is celebrated by the whole team – a place where you are encouraged to stretch and grow.

We are hiring a co-op position for the Fall 2025 term to support our client-facing Learning Solutions (Learning & Development) team. Here are a few examples of the types of work the successful candidate may undertake:

  • Coordinate program launches, using our learning management system to set up eLearning courses and upload participants
  • Provide technical support in facilitated virtual training sessions, including managing breakout rooms and taking attendance.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions to create detailed reports for clients, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work with Microsoft Suite to improve processes and ensure accuracy in reporting and data management.

Note: Our co-op positions are full-time, 40 hours per week between 8:00 am – 5:00pm EST, however, there may be some client engagements that will require the ability to flex work hours and will require strong internet connectivity.

We are looking to hire a co-op student with a passion for Human Resources, who has strong writing skills and attention to detail; strong skills in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word); who has exceptional time management skills, and who is comfortable working collaboratively with different people across multiple teams in a dynamic work environment.  You’ll get great exposure to many different areas of Learning & Development and to people like Grace Ewles and Peter Wong, former McLean & Company co-op students who returned to make their careers with us.

As a McLean & Company co-op student, you’ll also have access to McLean Academy, a series of online research-informed courses. Courses have been pre-approved for professional development credits by the HRPA, SHRM, and HRCI.
