We are currently seeking a Coord – Diversity & Inclusion to join our Diversity and Inclusion Team based in our New York, New York, headquarters.

JOB SUMMARY
The Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator is responsible for the administrative operations and support of programs designed to foster a diverse workforce, cultivate an inclusive culture and enhance employee and audience engagement.  You will report to the VP of Diversity and Inclusion and support various workforce, culture, production and content initiatives at AMC Networks. This role will support key inclusion strategy priorities of AMCN in collaboration with Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGs), Human Resources, Marketing, Production and Communications teams.  You will play a key role in strengthening the Company’s inclusion strategy throughout all of our lines of business.  
  
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES   

  • Provide administrative support to the VP, D&I, including but not limited to, coordinating and managing a heavy calendar of appointments with various demands and shifting priorities, phone calls, emails, visitor meetings, travel itineraries and any other related arrangements
  • Handle processing for departmental corporate card, all D&I related invoices, new vendor paperwork and D&I spending and budget for the 9 Global Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGS)
  • Persistent follow up with various departments to ensure that requests are carried out and activities are coordinated
  • Provide support to the BERGS, track project plans, and assist in the development of all new BERGs
  • Assist with project managing D&I Taskforce initiatives, including keeping track of meeting minutes, follow-ups, takeaways and action items
  • Serve as a point of contact with external vendors and partnerships to drive activations and projects
  • Coordinate and organize scheduling and logistics for meetings, events, speakers for all D&I activations
  • Assist with BERG efforts, D&I activations and departmental programming, including event planning requests from BERGs for heritage months and execution support for events
  • Attend relevant meetings to contribute, capture action items, and ensure appropriate follow-through
  • Conduct research on best practices, initiatives, and partnerships and provide recommendations to drive strategy   
  • Contact list maintenance
  • Time management in both EST and PST

  
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)  

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 0-2 years of D&I/marketing/production/communications/legal or other related experience
  • The ability to work independently, as well as function as part of a team, is required
  • Position must have the ability to work under pressure with little supervision in a fast-paced environment, be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and be willing to work overtime as required 
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and possess strong follow-up skills.     
  • Must be able to practice discretion and good judgment to prioritize a high volume of demands   
  • Highly proficient in a Windows-based work environment: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Forms and Power Point     
  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably at an entertainment or media company supporting the level of a VP or higher  
  • Passion or desire to learn the entertainment/media industry  
  • Experience with Workday and Oracle is a plus  
  • Experience coordinating campaigns or business development strategies for key consumer and Business Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) including women, Hispanic/Latinx, Black/African Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, Native/Indigenous community, Disabled people, LGBTQ+, etc.   
  • Canva, Adobe Photoshop and/or graphic design experience   


The base compensation range for this position is $50,000 to $53,000 commensurate with experience. AMC Networks additionally offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave and Adoption Services, among other benefit plan options, subject to eligibility requirements.
