As Clinical Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in the growth of the Versius robotic programs in your defined US region, with a specific focus on system utilization, procedure growth, new product launch and clinical adoption.

This is a field-based role where you’ll own the entire clinical sales cycle—from pre-contracting stakeholder engagement thru the launch and ongoing support of the partnership— operating in close collaboration with cross-functional colleagues and hospital clinical, operational and management teams.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Sales ownership: lead the clinical growth of the robotic program, from successful new installation implementation; to ongoing clinical stakeholder development, sales of new technology and upgrades for the duration of the partnership.  Lead account clinical expansion, onboarding of new surgeons, clinical procedure expansion and growth in multispecialty adoption [upon Regulatory approvals]. 
  • Achieve quarterly clinical sales goals; support capital sales targets 
  • Implementation planning and coordination coordinate and influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of all project phases, on time and within budget, while delivering an industry-leading customer experience.
  • Oversee the robotic program clinical growth stage: undertake case support and troubleshooting in the Operating Room fAct as the first point of customer contact and liaison with other areas of the business and CMR leadership.
  • Ensure feedback is recorded and tracked to aid post-market surveillance and product improvement in each account. Promptly implement corrective actions, as and when required, to guarantee delivery against contracted Service Level Agreements and maximize Versius uptime and increase in utilisation.
  • Monitor the ongoing success of the robotic programme through carrying out regular business reviews in your accounts, involving the appropriate CMR stakeholders when required, sharing these with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the uptake of the digital ecosystem in your accounts.
  • Deliver the training modules as per agreed plans, guiding new surgical teams through their initial learning curve with Versius, developing and executing on expansion plans, while transmitting feedback to Professional Education.
  • Support the capital sales and management team with opportunities for capital expansion.
  • Events & Networking: participate in educational, marketing and sales related activities and events when needed, and support the capital sales team during the pre-implementation projects as required. Take initiative and lead on account related events in collaboration with the hospital.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: work with internal teams (marketing, clinical, finance, legal, etc.) to deliver clinical growth-related proposals in collaboration
  • CRM & Sales Tools: Use CRM and other commercial tools to record account plans, track activity and progress, drive engagement, and ensure visibility across internal stakeholders.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver a premium, partnership-driven experience for customers throughout the program.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be:

  • Proven success in medical device clinical sales, strong preference for robotic and/or MIS experience in soft tissue procedures.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding clinical sales targets
  • Strong experience in Operating Room process management, introduction of new surgical equipment across all departments, hospital staff training specifically related to advanced technology within a clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in multiple stakeholder management enabling achievement of the business goals with demonstrated records/examples.
  • Strong project management, prioritization and organizational skills, being responsible for a variety of key planning and coordinating activities including maintaining and adhering to timelines and contracted Service Level Agreements for the installation and implementation project plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills in building strong long-term relationships with key opinion leaders and customers interactions at all levels, as well as colleagues in different functions.
  • Inherently self-disciplined - much of the role will be autonomous and require diligent and persistent follow up.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills to assess the profitability of different scenarios.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable to change and solution-oriented individual who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in use of sales tools (CRM systems and value propositions) and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
