The Regional Vice President (RVP), Middle East, will be responsible for leading the company’s commercial and strategic efforts across the region. This executive role involves retaining existing and driving new business, managing key government and institutional relationships, developing high-performing teams, and executing on a long-term vision to expand market share across both mature and emerging markets in the Middle East.

 

This role is critical in strengthening our position as a leading EdTech provider, aligning with national digital transformation initiatives, and scaling strategic partnerships with ministries, universities, and national education bodies.

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

 

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Owning and exceeding regional revenue targets across the region
  • Retaining existing customers
  • Leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales engagements, particularly government and nationwide deals
  • Identifying and developing new market opportunities, strategic alliances, and upsell paths

 

Strategic Account Management

  • Deepening engagement with key accounts
  • Building and maintaining C-level relationships with public and private sector stakeholders

 

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruiting, coaching, and retaining a high-performing regional sales and pre-sales team
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-centricity

 

Regional Strategy & Execution

  • Shaping and executing go-to-market strategies aligned with national education agendas and market dynamics
  • Collaborating closely with product, marketing, customer success, and implementation teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention

 

Executive Reporting & Forecasting

  • Providing accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking
  • Representing the region internally to influence product development and corporate strategy

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • 12-15 years of senior sales leadership experience in EdTech, SaaS, or enterprise software
  • Proven success in leading large, complex sales cycles with governments, ministries, and enterprise customers
  • Deep understanding of the Middle East education landscape and public procurement processes
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing, multi-country teams
  • Experience working with cross-functional and international teams in a matrixed environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial instincts and political acumen
  • Charismatic executive presence, capable of influencing senior government and institutional stakeholders
  • Results-oriented, data-driven, and execution-focused
  • Culturally fluent, adaptable, and comfortable navigating complex regulatory environments
  • Passionate about education, innovation, and technology’s impact on society
