Job description

This role is suited for professionals with experience in designing excellent supply chain solutions; from the initial idea to the successful ramp-up of complex logistics systems. The position will provide insight into various industries and work with a strong team in an international environment. Approximately 40-60% domestic and international travel are required. Working remotely is possible. In this role you will be contributing to the expansion of our Benelux office by providing your valuable expertise.


As a Senior Consultant in Material Flow Engineering your tasks will include:


  • Analyze material flow and inventory data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse and logistics performance.

  • Lead and execute intralogistics projects from concept to implementation.

  • Design and optimize material flow systems, including manual, semi-automated, and fully automated solutions.

  • Support tender processes and vendor selection.

  • Evaluate warehouse management systems (WMS) and material flow control systems (MFC).

  • Advise clients on Industry 4.0 solutions such as digital twins, AI, and predictive analytics.

  • Coordinate with equipment suppliers and technology providers to ensure seamless integration.

  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients, guiding them in strategic decision-making.

  • Conduct workshops and training sessions on logistics trends and best practices.

  • Ensure designs comply with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations.

  • Incorporate sustainability and energy efficiency into material flow solutions.
