Job Description Summary
Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting clinical programs designed to improve patient care and quality performance metrics. The technician works collaboratively with pharmacists and care teams to improve STAR and HEDIS measures to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (state or national)
Fluent in Spanish and English
Strong communication and computer skills (excel)
Hours Mon-Friday 8am-5pm pst and weekend on-call
Monitor and track STAR and HEDIS quality measures, such as Medication Adherence members for diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol medications.
Supports refill reminder programs and adherence interventions targeted at improving CMS STAR ratings
Conduct outreach calls to patients, providers and pharmacies to coordinate care, resolve medication related issues and support medication adherence programs.
Assist clinical pharmacist in the review of medication profiles, prior authorizations, and documentation of clinical interventions.
Process and coordinate services for Part B authorizations including injectables, DME and specialty drugs.
Work with provider offices to ensure accurate documentation and submission of Part B authorizations.
Requirements:
Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (state or national)
Compensation: $18.94/hr. - $23.67/hr. & bonus eligible
