Sales Director, Service Solutions - National Accounts

This position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in increasing equipment and service market penetration across the Diagnosis and Treatment portfolio in a National North America focused role with remote work capabilities. You will lead a ~10-person sales team who will partner with Philips Tier 1 IDN Account Executives and GPO business development leaders to drive larger scale service and equipment partnerships at the highest level of IDN contracting and purchasing RFPs. You will also lead a Life Cycle Refresh (LCR) Program leader who will further activate equipment as a service model being used as a differentiator to that of independent service providers.  

Your role:

  • Establish a joint strategy with the Account Executive leadership team across our largest Hospital/IDNs and National Diagnostic Imaging Center customers to improve market share.

  • Drive funnel growth based on customer intelligence, customer engagement and driving integral sales execution and deal strategy across maintenance, software, and clinical education agreements.

  • Grow competitive equipment service (multi-vendor) offering, while enabling post sale socket conversion execution via strategically targeted programs.  

  • Prepares proposals for management to get financial support to pursue new opportunities and successfully launches and supports the realization of the approved business plan

  • Keeps abreast of market, competition, technical, application and societal developments in sales/business development portfolio, showing understanding of the Philips position and business interests.

  • Develop a training plan and content partnership Service Marketing and Business units.

  • Build an external network and makes this knowledge applicable for the business, now and in the future. Is consulted as a senior sales/business development specialist and asked to investigate feasibility of new businesses, applications concepts and models.

  • As the LCR leader you will hire a resource to formulate, the future strategic LCR direction for the portfolio across the Philips Enterprise.

You're the right fit if:

  • 10 years minimum of related experience in healthcare sales/business development.

  • Four-year college degree required; Master’s degree in business, preferred.

  • Leadership experience across commercial med device equipment and service organizations.

  • Required experience in navigating GPO and National IDN strategy, negotiations and contracting, with a background in finance, pricing, commercial business development, and/or sales, along with skills in creating customer profiles and strategies for acquisition and retention.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.

  • Ability to educate customers and sales teams about products, services, industry trends, and evolving business strategies, including an understanding of Philips' strategies for product and service expansion.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $307,750 to $348,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.
