Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź is the principal location for handling the business support activities and processes for Tate & Lyle, both transactional as well as value-added business partnering support. Starting operations in 2011 with less than 50 people, we now have over 350 employees supporting operations globally. We have 30 teams operating in Łódź to provide service in the areas of Finance, Customer Service, Procurement, HR/People Services, and IS/IT

ROLE PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is: responsible for executing Global Master Data activities to support the main stakeholders with accurate Master Data metrics. Performing Master Data activities on time to ensure data completeness. What is mire he/she will be ensuring, that all task assigned are carried out accurately with agreed timetables, business terms, deadlines and meets stakeholder’s expectations.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Assuring process compliance with corporate policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Assisting in month end closing related activities
  • Creating and updating DPMs
  • Performing changes to existing master data accounts in line with procedures
  • Creating data objects in line with Data Quality Rules and procedures
  • Performing quality checks
  • Establishing, managing, and growing relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Resolving day to day enquiries, issues, and complaints
  • Ensuring all targets are met, working to agreed KPI and SLA
  • Continuous process improvements and striving to deliver best practice and excellence.
  • Work proactively with colleagues across the MD function to ensure an integrated approach to service delivery
  • Participating in the cleansing activities/projects
  • Knowledge of at least one master data stream
  • Preparing regular and ad hoc reports

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree/diploma in Finance and Accounting, Economy, or a related field

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience gained in an international organisation (ideally shared services)
  • Knowledge of other SSC specific process would be beneficial

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

  • SAP knowledge would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationship with customers.
  • Proactive mindset and a problem-solving approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Good MS Office skills, especially Excel and Access (V-Lookups, Pivots, etc)
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and in writing
