Job description

Job Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee all aspects of factory operations, including production, quality control,
maintenance, and logistics.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor production schedules, adjust workflows, and manage resources to meet
production targets.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors, engineers, and production staff.
- Ensure proper training and development programs are in place for all factory employees.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and high
morale.
3. Quality Control:
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance processes and conduct regular inspections.
- Address and resolve any quality-related issues promptly.
4. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure the factory operates in compliance with health, safety, and environmental
regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety, conduct regular safety audits, and implement
corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
5. Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the factory's budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources.
- Monitor expenses and optimize production costs to achieve financial targets.
- Prepare regular financial and operational reports for senior management.
6. Strategic Planning:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term goals for the factory

- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, integrating new technologies and practices as appropriate.

7. Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure the
timely delivery of materials and products.
- Address and resolve any operational or logistical challenges that may arise.
- Represent the factory in meetings with clients, regulatory bodies, and other external
parties.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in business management or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in garment/textile manufacturing or factory
management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
