Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Logistics Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire logistics process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Interaction with transportation service providers and internal customers to assure that shipments are moving without disruption to supply chain including troubleshooting “problem” shipments.
  • Work with shipping departments to manage shipments via forwarder or any other logistics issues on customer shipments.
  • Make special shipping arrangements as needed
  • Assuring that shipments are moving via cost effective means without interruption to supply chain
  • Work with TCO team to resolve IM/EX issues and help to reduce impact of tariffs
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and laws.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on logistics activities.
  • Work with procurement teams to negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Monitor and manage budgets and expenditures.

Qualifications

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Experience with international logistics and customs regulations.

Travel %: 0-10%
