About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fullstack Engineering Manager to lead our development team in building and scaling end-to-end web applications using modern technologies. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background across both frontend and backend systems, and a proven track record in managing engineering teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on with technologies like Python, AWS (including Bedrock), ReactJS, Redux, PostgreSQL, and Amazon DynamoDB, and can steer the team in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

You will play a pivotal role in architecture decisions, team mentorship, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to align product vision with engineering execution. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of fullstack engineers responsible for building scalable web applications.
  • Drive the development and delivery of robust backend services using Python and AWS components, including AWS Bedrock for AI/ML integration.
  • Guide frontend development with ReactJS, Redux, and other modern JavaScript frameworks to create responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
  • Architect and implement efficient data models using PostgreSQL and Amazon DynamoDB.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements, timelines, and goals.
  • Take ownership of engineering quality and ensure adherence to coding standards, testing, and documentation.
  • Review code, mentor junior engineers, and facilitate a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability, ensuring high system uptime.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to continuously improve team efficiency and software quality.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, cost-optimized, and aligned with best DevOps practices.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business needs and customer feedback.
  • Maintain regular reporting on team performance, deliverables, and operational metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of overall experience in fullstack development, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or technical leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in Python for backend development, including frameworks like FastAPI or Django.
  • Proven experience with AWS services, especially AWS Bedrock and other cloud-native tools for deployment, storage, and AI/ML services.
  • Hands-on knowledge of ReactJS, Redux, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Deep experience in working with both relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (Amazon DynamoDB).
  • Strong understanding of system design, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
