Location: Remote (within South Africa)

We are seeking a Recruitment Candidate Screener with experience in various recruitment roles to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and vetting applications, specifically for engineering positions across industries or educational institutions. Your expertise will be critical in identifying top talent from job boards, ensuring only the best candidates are presented for placement.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in recruiting who can manage a high volume of CVs, quickly assess suitability, and work independently to screen candidates for industry or education roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vetting candidate applications: Review CVs from job boards, assessing qualifications and experience against job requirements.
  • Screening candidates: Ensure applicants have relevant skills and experience tailored to industry or education roles as per open job opportunities.
  • Shortlisting qualified candidates: Identify top talent and pass on only the best candidates to hiring teams.
  • Communication and reporting: Maintain clear communication with recruitment teams and provide regular updates on candidate progress.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in recruitment, with the ability to screen for various roles.
  • Familiarity with CV vetting processes, particularly for engineering and technical positions.
  • Experience of 2+ years in recruitment and candidate screening.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly assess candidate qualifications.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with recruitment, hiring teams and candidates as required.
