  • Set and maintain weekly schedules, shifts, and rotation plans to ensure 24/7 coverage of key events and breaking news.

  • Provide onboarding, mentoring, and support to new contributors, promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture.

  • Help this team to adopt the editorial tools used all along the Bolavip editions (WordPress, Marfeel Compass, Google Trends, etc.)

3. Traffic & Performance Goals

  • Collaborate with the Audience Development and SEO teams to grow organic traffic, optimize distribution, and monitor KPIs using tools like Marfeel Compass and Search Console, among others.

  • Define and track traffic and content production goals, ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly targets are met.

  • Develop strategies for audience retention, including newsletter ideas, push notification strategies, and recurring content formats.

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Act as the main liaison between the French team and the central editorial, product, and commercial teams.

  • Ensure editorial alignment across global editions (e.g., for international tournaments or breaking news coverage).

  • Participate in regular update meetings, performance reviews, and content planning sessions.

5. Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital journalism, with at least 2 years in a leadership/editorial role.

  • Deep understanding of the French sports media ecosystem, especially football and its audience.

  • Experience working with freelance writers and remote teams.
