Engineer, Footwear Commercialization

We’re looking for an Engineer, Footwear Commercialization to support the development and production of high-quality footwear products by ensuring compliance, quality, and operational efficiency across our contract manufacturing network.
 

What You’ll Do

Under close supervision, you will:

• Conduct site visits to contract manufacturing facilities to observe production and testing of VF footwear products and ensure compliance with quality standards and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
• Support the operations of contract suppliers, including resolving technical issues, managing quotations, evaluating vendors, addressing schedule conflicts, and ensuring product quality.
• Act as a liaison between VF and third-party manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of compliant, high-quality products.
• Provide contractors with the necessary information to meet VF’s quality and compliance expectations.
• Assist in vendor selection and evaluation, and contribute to the development of contractor documentation.
• Respond to cost and feasibility requests and obtain vendor quotations as needed.
   

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  (Equivalent experience may be considered based on the role and hiring criteria.)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in PC tools and systems.
