Students explore such topics as the historical roots of American liberty, with special emphasis on the close link between liberty and Christianity, and the nature of freedom as understood by the chief architects of the American political order. They examine the interdependence between political and economic freedom, in particular, the significance of free-enterprise capitalism for the preservation of liberty.
The University's annual American Free Enterprise celebration honors individuals who exemplify free enterprise principles and perpetuate those principles in the marketplace.
SUMMARY: The Catherine T. MacArthur School (PBA Online) is seeking adjunct faculty to teach online master-level courses in Ethics and Organizational Behavior.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Deliver the established content of the course meeting all course objectives,
Communicate with students via announcements, email, Canvas inbox/messaging,
Actively teach asynchronously by guiding course discussions,
Conduct voluntary attendance synchronous sessions (typically 2 per course),
Grade student work (which may include, but is not limited to assignments, quizzes, discussions, research papers, and projects) in a timely manner and in accordance with any established rubrics,
Meet virtually with students, as needed
Perform other duties related to the administration of the course (e.g., attendance verification)
Qualifications
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD only) required with at least eighteen credit hours at the graduate level in Organizational Behavior & Leadership, or Philosophy & Ethics.
Applicants must have a Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with the subject matter and the manner of teaching.
