JOB OVERVIEW:
The Registration Specialist plays a critical role in supporting student enrollment by acting as the first point of contact for new and returning students. This position focuses on guiding students through the registration process, verifying application data, collecting required documentation, and ensuring that all steps are completed accurately within Ed Cloud and PowerSchool systems. High-quality communication and follow-through are essential, as the Registration Specialist is responsible for maintaining high call volumes and providing an excellent first impression of our program.
JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Make outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries from prospective and returning students.
Conduct discovery calls to determine program eligibility and student readiness.
Complete student registrations over the phone using standardized scripts and compliance procedures.
Enter and verify student data across multiple systems including Ed Cloud, Salesforce, and PowerSchool.
Collect and upload required documents (e.g., proof of residency, identification, transcripts, immunization records).
Perform data accuracy checks and resolve discrepancies during the registration and verification process.
Track daily activity, call volume, and registration metrics as part of team performance expectations.
Maintain detailed and accurate communication logs within student profiles.
Collaborate with Enrollment and Mentorship teams to ensure a seamless student experience.
Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on changes in policy, systems, and compliance.
Follow up with students who have incomplete applications or missing documentation to ensure completion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Fluent in Spanish and English
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
1-2 years experience in customer service, call center, or student enrollment support preferred.
Experience working in Ed Cloud and PowerSchool highly preferred.
Proficiency in CRM or student information systems such as Salesforce is a plus.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and a professional phone presence.
Ability to manage high call volumes and multitask across platforms efficiently.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Compassionate, student-focused, and motivated to help others succeed.
Complete a minimum of 45 calls per day.
Maintain accurate and timely data entry.
Achieve weekly targets for completed registrations and follow-up activities.
Adhere to internal protocols for document collection, data entry, and student verification
