Agile, With An Eye For Detail

We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Web Developer with strong marketing instincts and front-end skills to join our dynamic team. If you have a strategic mindset, experience in custom WordPress development, and a passion for helping businesses grow, we want to hear from you.

This position requires someone who is self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively on multiple projects at once. It’s also important that you feel comfortable reviewing or making minor changes to ensure that our websites are perfectly built, and also look great. You will interact a lot with our graphic designer and creative team.

Responsibilities

• Build and update custom WordPress websites for new and existing clients using WordPress and Elementor, preferably (although we have built in Oxygen and Divi previously and are open to other options)
  • Design both main pages and subpages that align with the overall website strategy and visual brand.
• Light backend setup, plugin tinkering, and design customization.
• Collaborate closely with Project Coordinators and Designers on layout, user experience, and aesthetics to ensure consistency and effectiveness. This means:
  • Develop marketing-focused web pages optimized for lead generation and user experience.
  • Create web experiences that reflect brand strategy, support marketing goals, and make visitors say “I’m in love”
  • Translate UI/UX designs into functional, clean and responsive HTML/CSS/JS while adhering to accessibility and design standards.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO basics, and mobile performance (we love a site that loads before we blink)
• Evaluate and troubleshoot rendering issues across devices and browsers.
• Provide input and ideas to improve internal processes and project outcomes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and building websites that look good and perform even better
• You approach web design like a marketer: results-focused, user-driven, and conversion-minded
• 2+ years of professional experience developing WordPress websites.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with responsive frameworks and media queries.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and bug resolution.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility guidelines.
• Meticulous attention to detail—because we don’t do “it’s almost there”, we do “it’s absolutely amazing and ready to go live”
• Ability to self-review and ensure quality control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, communicative, and able to meet deadlines without reminders from four different people and a Slack bot.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple projects with minimal oversight
• Comfortable working remotely with your own reliable device and setup
• Availability Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM CST (flexible scheduling within these hours)
• Currently, we are only seeking candidates living in Latin America.

What We Offer

• Competitive full-time salary between USD $3,000 and $3,200 per month
• Internet stipend of USD 50 per month
• Two weeks of paid time off (PTO) after the first 90 days.
