KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
45% Administration
- Calendar management, sending invitations, and room reservations for scheduled events
- Organize and prioritize multiple competing tasks to maximize both personal and team effectiveness
40% Research & Development
- Conduct research and planning necessary to facilitate program evaluation and reporting
- Establish procedures and policies for new training programs working with the Vice Chancellor for Research
- Plan, develop and design innovative and engaging course content (handouts, PowerPoints, etc.) and assessments for a variety of instructional formats.
- Research new opportunities, techniques and approaches that can be used in the education and training of post-doctoral fellows
10% Engagement
- Engaging and educating the institutional community and postdoctoral fellows about Post-Doc Academy
- Traveling to training workshops, conferences, meetings and/or professional associations events outside of UAMS as needed.
- Actively participate in Research-related committees, providing service to the Division as required.
5% Performs other duties as assigned
