We are looking for a Global Director of Outlet Planning, for our Levis® brand. 

You will set a centralized strategic direction for outlet business with a dedicated global team focused on how to grow, how to maintain, and how to optimize the assortments within outlet business. 

You will create a strategy for outlet planning teams within clusters, requiring leadership and close collaboration with regions/clusters partners to ensure the business drives the planned financial results. Director of Outlet will be part of a cross-functional team including Merchandising, Planning & Inventory Management, Operations, Finance, Brand and Marketing. 

About the Job
  • Partner with Merchandising to develop strategic category plans and targets to guide brand vision 

  • Partner with Finance and the cross-functional team to build Annual Financial Plans 

  • Outlet store segmentation and managed based on their strategic purpose, build a guiding decision on assortment architecture, inventory management and promotions 

  • Global outlet team will be a central team responsible for pricing playbook, strategy guardrails and tools, partnering with cluster planners to ensure execution 

  • Develop and monitor outlet store KPI by cluster/region based on purpose segment to improve productivity and margins 

  • Create tops down seasonal financial plans that support category strategies 

  • Build applicable strategies around risks and opportunities identified in the business 

  • Present and gain agreement from regional/cluster leadership during Investment Review process 

  • Responsible for tracking and if needed reviewing forecast; Store KPIs including Traffic, Conversion, UPT, etc. 

  • Promote in season business, pulling financial levers, modeling promotional opportunities, managing markdowns, and partnering with cross-functional team on marketing/messaging 

  • Integrate global outlet strategy with cluster SBPs and outlet inventory management 

  • Enforce globally directive assortment guidelines across clusters 

  • Conduct business reviews with cluster teams to track outlet performance 

  • You will report to our VP, Center Demand & Operations

About You

  • 15+ years of experience in areas including the following – Merchandise Financial Planning, Buying, Demand Forecasting, Inventory management, Store Allocation, Production Planning, Sales and Operations Planning and Planning Systems & Tools 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher 

  • 8+ years of supervisory experience 

  • Possess strong analytical skills to interpret data, with a solid grasp of retail math, merchandising financials, and profitability KPIs. 

  • San Francisco based preferred, but open to remote.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $144,800-$219,300 per yearWe may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
