Strong Middle/Senior QA Engineer (desktop apps testing)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The goal of the project is to improve the everyday digital experience for employees in customers' organizations to increase job satisfaction and overall productivity. The product helps to improve end-user experience.
The product consists of 2 parts: the system metric collector and BI.


IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL 

• Collaborate with Developers and Product Owners during refinement sessions to analyze requirements and clarify acceptance criteria for each User Story or Use Case; 

• Design and document manual test cases in Xray, including input data and expected outcomes; 

• Verify the availability and completeness of new functionality prior to testing; 

• Execute various types of manual testing (e.g., functional, regression, exploratory) to validate new and existing features; 

• Take part in manual regression testing for Release Candidate validation and verification of production environments performing manual tests runs; 

• Log clear, reproducible bugs and follow up on their resolution through re-testing and verification.
  
   

IF YOU HAVE 

• Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer in an Agile development environment; 

• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and best practices; 

• Experience with test case management tools, particularly Xray for Jira; 

• Strong skills in test planning, documentation, execution, and defect tracking; 

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; 

• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain good working relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; 

• Experience of working on Windows, Linux, Mac systems related to installing desktop applications; 

• Good understanding of SQL and browser dev tools; 

• Experience with APIs testing and using API testing tools; 

• Verbal and written English from B2 Level.
