Job description

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a creative and data-savvy Social Media Manager to grow and engage our global audience across key platforms. You will shape Plaud’s voice online, drive engagement through storytelling, and amplify product launches, brand moments, and thought leadership. This role blends content creation, community building, and performance-driven strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Planning: Own the global social media calendar across platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.); Align content themes with brand campaigns, product launches, PR moments, and community engagement.

  • Content Creation & Publishing: Write, design, and publish high-quality, engaging content (posts, stories, videos, threads); Partner with internal teams and external creators for visuals, videos, and social-first storytelling.

  • Influencer Collaboration: Proactively engage with relevant creators, professionals, and industry conversations; Partner with the Influencer Marketing team to amplify campaigns, co-create content, and optimize organic + creator-led engagement.

  • Community Sentiment: Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions to foster a strong, trusted community; Manage social sentiment and support influencer campaigns with native brand storytelling.

  • AI Empowerment: Use AI tools for trend discovery, ideation, and content planning; Use generative AI tools to boost speed, creativity, and experimentation in content creation.

  • Growth & Analytics: Track performance using platform analytics and third-party tools; Define KPIs, analyze trends, and iterate strategy based on insights (engagement, reach, sentiment, etc.); Identify and test new formats, platform features, and AI-powered insights to drive growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Brand, PR, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams; Support paid social and influencer campaigns with organic amplification; Brief stakeholders on trends, opportunities, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience managing social media for a tech, AI, SaaS, or premium consumer brand.

  • Strong writing and visual storytelling skills across short- and long-form formats.

  • Deep knowledge of social platforms and creator ecosystems (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).

  • Experience growing global B2C or B2B audiences in a fast-paced brand or startup environment.

  • Comfortable using AI tools for content generation, trend tracking, and workflow automation.

  • Passion for technology, design, productivity, and audience-first communication.
