Job description

We're looking to grow our Architectural Team at NLS! 

Next Level Solutions is looking for a Policy Architect (Duck Creek) to lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of custom software solutions built on the Duck Creek platform. This is a senior, client-facing role responsible for overseeing technical implementations, leading design discussions, and mentoring developers.

As an Architect, you’ll work with proprietary Duck Creek tools and commonly used code management systems to bring solutions to life for our clients. What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee and provide support to the development of custom software applications based on software products and services.
  • Use Duck Creek proprietary tools and industry-common code management systems to complete tasks.
  • Serve as the face of the company for client interactionDevelop solution and design concepts in accordance with client requirements.
  • Oversee the full implementation of solutions by the Architect’s implementation team of developers.
  • Travel as needed (up to 25%) to client or company offices.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Five years of experience as a Software Developer, Application Development Analyst, Application Development Manager, or related technical position in software or application development.
  • Experience analyzing business requirements, leading architectural and design aspects of projects, and providing technical leadership for complex programming tasks.
  • Experience with the following technical skills: Duck Creek platform: Policy, Billing, Claims, Data Insights, Anywhere API, Duck Creek OnDemand (SaaS), Example Server, TransACT, Rating, Pages, Forms, Express, User Admin, Example Author, Example Utility, and Trace MonitorC#

Work Hours & Location:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. (remote)
  • Must be willing and able to travel at employer expense to company office locations or client locations as required. Travel up to 25% of time.

Hiring range for position: $150,000 to $200,000 per year.
