Job Description

About the Role

As a Data Analyst Trainee, you will support the procurement organization by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data from ERP systems, supplier databases, and external sources. You’ll play a vital role in enabling data-driven decisions and continuous improvement throughout our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain regular reports and dashboards on spend analysis, supplier performance, savings tracking, and compliance.
  • Assist in gathering, cleansing, and validating data to ensure high quality and accuracy from multiple sources.
  • Conduct basic statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Visualize and present insights using Excel, Power BI, SAC, or Tableau.
  • Support the automation of data collection and reporting, as well as the creation of interactive dashboards.
  • Present analytical findings clearly and constructively to stakeholders—helping turn insights into action.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • You are enrolled in university (Business Informatics, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field) through at least January 2026
  • Availability for at least 25 hours per week (up to 40 hours possible)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; knowledge of SAC, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools is a plus
  • Willingness to learn, show initiative, and work in a dynamic, digital environment
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
  • Previous internship or working student experience in a similar field is an advantage
