About the role:

Workato is hiring a UX Designer to reimagine how users interact with the platform’s most critical surfaces - like the canvas-based recipe editor. This role blends deep interaction design, systems thinking, and hands-on prototyping to make complex logic-building feel intuitive.

In this role you’ll be:

• Define and build interactive systems, like drag-and-drop canvas editors for automation logic.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to shape the UX strategy for key platform areas.
• Own flows, behaviors, and states from concept to handoff.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes with motion and logic-driven interactions.
• Evolve and maintain a scalable design system for complex UI.
• Conduct user research and validate ideas with testing.

About you:

• 5+ years designing sophisticated tools, with a focus on enterprise or low-code platforms.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating rich interactive experiences.
• Skilled in motion, system design, and prototyping (Framer, Cursor, or HTML/CSS a plus).
  Strong collaborator with engineering teams and comfort with technical constraints.
• Detail-oriented, system thinker who thrives in complexity.

Compensation:
US - $150-200k / Canada CAD 130-190k
