JOB OVERVIEW:

This role is responsible for redesigning, developing, and maintaining a SharePoint solution for a high-profile automotive client. The candidate must have expertise in SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate to support a highly customized site while adhering to best practices. This is a hands-on technical role with some requirements gathering and UX/UI design tasks. Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills are essential to help drive the project to successful completion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as requirements lead to gather, analyze, and document business needs from stakeholders in order to translate them for design and development.
  • Design and develop custom SharePoint templates, sites, lists, libraries, pages, forms, content, and workflows based on business requirements.
  • Structure and organize content effectively using metadata and taxonomy to categorize and store information logically. Set up document libraries with versioning, tagging, and search optimization.
  • Design user-friendly and visually appealing layouts using modern web design principles to ensure intuitive navigation for the overall user experience.
  • Configuring and enhancing the SharePoint search functionality to make information easily retrievable.
  • Connect SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools like Teams, Power Automate, and Power BI as needed.
  • Integrating third-party or custom-built applications if necessary.
  • Work with client teams to identify, collect, and validate knowledge assets for upload.
  • Actively participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on the use of SharePoint features.
  • Update and maintain the SharePoint environment, implementing new features.
  • Ensure compliance and security, maintaining documentation and adhering to governance protocols.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required with Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
  • 3+ years of experience in SharePoint and Power Apps development.
  • Proficiency in using C#, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
  • Highly experienced in creating both OOTB and custom SharePoint sites with very large lists and libraries.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint features, tools, and architectures.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Experience working under an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Can multi-task and quickly adapt to changing and conflicting priorities, while working independently.
  • Critical thinker who can problem solve and is detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication.
