Location: Remote - Italy

Job type: Fixed-Term Contract, Full Time

The role


The Marketing Specialist for Italy leads the marketing strategy and delivery of student recruitment activities across the region. This role drives event registration and attendance, manages relationships with Italian stakeholders, oversees campaign budgets, and ensures marketing performance contributes to commercial success across QS Events.


Role responsibilities


This section outlines the key duties and responsibilities of the role - the core tasks that will be used to evaluate the individual’s performance. Candidates should clearly understand what is expected.



  • Develop and execute localised, high-impact marketing campaigns for QS student recruitment events in Italy.
  • Drive registration, attendance, and quality candidate generation across QS Discover and QS Connect products.
  • Manage relationships with key local partners, influencers, media outlets, and government stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain campaign assets across paid, email, SEO, content, and social media channels.
  • Monitor and optimise campaign budgets to ensure cost-efficiency and strong ROI.
  • Own the performance of regional landing pages and contribute to SEO strategy.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and delivery teams to align on candidate quality and value proposition.
  • Provide market insights and performance reporting to inform broader EMEA and global marketing strategy.
  • Travel to QS events in Italy as needed (approx. 10–15%).



Key skills and experience



  • Proven success in multi-channel marketing campaign development and execution in a regional market.
  • Strong understanding of Italian market dynamics and student recruitment behaviors.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships with local media, influencers, and government bodies.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Skilled in budget ownership and performance optimization.
  • CRM and marketing platform experience (HubSpot preferred).
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across global teams.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Experience in the education sector, events marketing, or B2C student recruitment.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Canva and campaign analytics platforms.
