Job description

Location: NYC Hybrid (2–3 days/week) or Remote (EST time zone)

Our client—a globally successful, fast-growing HR software company—is expanding its talented engineering team. As a Frontend Engineer, you'll play a vital role in shaping the product’s user interface and functionality, working hand-in-hand with Product and Design to bring new features to life. You'll be part of a cutting-edge development team delivering software at scale in a continuous delivery environment.

What You'll Do

  • Build and deliver end-to-end product features with a sharp focus on user experience.

  • Collaborate closely with the Product team to design and implement innovative, intuitive features.

  • Take full ownership of the development lifecycle: from technical design and testing to deployment and monitoring.

  • Contribute to a modern microservices architecture with multiple daily deployments.

  • Work with a team that values clean code, strong architecture, and constant innovation.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on frontend development.

  • Proficiency in modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES2015+ and TypeScript).

  • 2+ years of experience with Angular or React (expertise in one is essential).

  • Solid understanding of scalable web application design and architecture.

  • Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies—unit testing, TDD, mocking, etc.

  • A fast learner and independent thinker who’s always exploring new technologies.

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a desire to make a real impact on the product and users.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in building payroll, payments, or HR software solutions.
