Mayo Clinic Healthcare, located in London, offers a range of comprehensive health services and is seeking an Associate Cloud Engineer. The role involves developing and implementing cloud-based operational capabilities, supporting enterprise cloud solutions, and leveraging DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

Work will primarily be performed remotely but may require incumbent to be on site.
Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Cloud Engineer to partner with existing team members to develop and implement innovative cloud-based operational capabilities supporting key business initiatives that align with Mayo Clinic's strategic goals.
An ideal candidate possesses demonstrated experience leveraging DevOps methodologies to implement tools and services that optimize customer workflows along with maximizing business value utilizing cloud native technologies.
The Associate Cloud Engineer works to deliver and support enterprise cloud solutions.
Assists with developing internal and external compatibility of the system and subsystems.
Performs scripting by using a tool or combination of tools to automate a task or a series of tasks.
Is aware of SLAs and OLAs and takes steps to meet or exceed them.
Documents modified solutions, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
Writes configuration for cloud platforms leveraging appropriate tools.
Assists with the “Ops” part of DevOps.
May develop and maintain tools and frameworks that other teams use to smoothly develop their applications.

Qualification

Required

Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years’ experience in Cloud engineering / technology, or Associate’s degree with 1-3 years’ experience, or HS/GED with 3-5 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
Certification in cloud engineering is required within 12-24 months.
Authorization to work and remain in the United States, without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorships now, or in the future (for example, be a U.S. Citizen, national, or permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
