Job description

This is a remote position.

Regional Sales Representative (DME)

Direct Hire Outside Sales role (Work from home)

Positions all across the US (Outside Sales)

Are you a highly motivated and empathetic sales professional eager to make a significant impact on individuals' well-being from the comfort of their homes? We are a national leader in providing essential home-based medical equipment (DME) and comprehensive solutions designed for long-term health management. We are expanding our dedicated team and are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Representative to drive our mission forward.

This is a compelling opportunity to empower patients by connecting them with the vital tools they need to effectively manage their health, fostering independence and improving quality of life. You will play a crucial role in building robust referral networks and cultivating strong, lasting relationships with healthcare providers. If you excel in a remote, autonomous environment, are driven by uncapped earning potential, and thrive with a supportive team, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.

What You'll Do:

  • Expand Referral Networks: Proactively identify and initiate contact with local and regional referral sources (e.g., physicians, clinics, other DME providers) to generate new orders for home-based medical equipment.
  • Facilitate Patient Onboarding: Efficiently respond to and manage incoming patient referrals. This includes meticulously collecting and processing all necessary documentation, such as prescriptions, insurance information, and demographic data, to ensure a smooth and complete patient file for seamless servicing and billing. You will be responsible for reviewing all acquired documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Cultivate Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with physicians, clinic staff (including medical assistants and referral coordinators), and other key referral partners. Ensure all interactions and documentation adhere strictly to company compliance standards and relevant privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed individual and departmental sales goals. Your contributions will be vital to the success of our aggressive growth initiatives.
  • Champion Patient Success: Act as a dedicated patient advocate, guiding individuals through the process of initiating and maintaining long-term therapy by ensuring they receive the appropriate equipment and ongoing support.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background & Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent practical experience in Sales or Marketing. Previous experience within the healthcare field or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) sector is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess strong rapport-building abilities in phone communication. You should be able to deliver brief, direct, and concise messages that effectively convey your point. Your voicemail delivery should be varied and inspire excitement. An adaptive verbal style is crucial. Excellent written communication skills are also a must.
  • Active Listening & Documentation: The ability to accurately capture verbal cues, effectively repeat input to confirm understanding, and work harmoniously with diverse communication styles. You must be adept at obtaining and meticulously documenting insights into a CRM system, and be able to redirect conversations when necessary. You will also interact effectively with peers and managers.
  • Self-Motivated & Organized: A highly self-starting, organized, and disciplined individual capable of working independently in a remote setting. This includes effectively managing an assigned territory and performing regular offsite visits to both new and existing referral sources.
  • Results-Oriented Drive: A proven track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets and objectives.

Territory Details:

This remote position requires you to reside within your assigned territory. Your work will typically involve covering a 150-200 mile radius, though this can be flexible from 50 to over 300 miles. We have priority recruiting territories with existing referral volumes, offering immediate opportunities for a strong start.

About Us:

We are dedicated to providing seamless clinical, logistical, and sales support to bridge the gap between diagnosis and effective home-based health treatment. Our Regional Sales Representatives are the cornerstone of this mission, ensuring quality care and fostering high-value referral relationships that drive our continued growth. We are poised for expansion and committed to rewarding top-tier talent.

If you are ready to make a significant impact on patient lives and advance your career with a leading provider of home-based medical equipment, we encourage you to apply today!
