Are you passionate about nonprofit fundraising and prospect research? PeaceHealth is hiring a Foundation Prospect Researcher to support our mission-driven development efforts. In this vital role, you will be responsible for identifying, researching, and analyzing prospects for major gift cultivation and solicitation. Identifies and qualifies major donor prospects who have the propensity and capacity to support PeaceHealth. Facilitates the cultivation and solicitation of top prospects as well as provides the function of portfolio optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and qualify mid-level, major, and transformational gift prospects.
Conduct in-depth donor research to support cultivation and solicitation strategies.
Create detailed prospect profiles and recommend engagement approaches.
Maintain accurate donor data in Raiser’s Edge, including biographical and philanthropic history.
Collaborate with fundraisers to optimize donor portfolios and fundraising strategies.
Analyze financial and demographic data to align with fundraising goals.
Support best practices in data-driven prospect management.
Represent PeaceHealth in professional philanthropic organizations.
What you will bring:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Minimum 3 years in prospect research or donor strategy development.
Skills:
Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge).
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Knowledge of research tools, philanthropic trends, and ethical standards.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively in a complex environment.
Working Conditions:
Remote work with occasional visits to PeaceHealth facilities.
Sedentary role with frequent computer use.
Requires close visual acuity for data analysis and document preparation.
