PeaceHealth is seeking a Manager of Supply Chain Contracts. This remote role requires the incumbent to work & reside in OR, WA or AK by date of hire.

Manages the coordination of the activities of supply chain contracting with responsibility for results including costs, methods, and staffing. Responsible for operational performance, quality, service environment and regulatory compliance. Serves as subject matter expert. Provides oversight for identifying and executing strategic system-wide opportunities. Cultivates collaboration with team, key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assigns work; plans and manages priorities, provides technical assistance, oversees staff schedules, monitors quality of work, monitors team projects, mentors staff, provides constructive feedback, oversees staff training, ensures quality improvement, provides leadership feedback on staff performance, and assists with goal setting for the team.
  • Develops, implements, and manages contracts for products, equipment and services for the use by PeaceHealth and affiliate member customers consistent with policies. Encourages and reports member contract compliance.
  • Collaborates with PeaceHealth legal to ensure potential contract risks are addressed.
  • Participates in the recruitment and on-going support of PeaceHealth affiliate program.
  • Promotes contract compliance and working with Supply Chain leadership and other areas of Supply Chain to address requirements of applicable local, regional or national regulatory entities.
  • Partners with colleagues at all levels to support change and performance initiatives.
  • Promotes, establishes, and maintains open and effective communication with caregivers and leadership. Develops strong working relationships with key stakeholders, as well as internal and external partners. Works in a collaborative manner with all leadership and caregivers throughout PeaceHealth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related discipline, or a combination of education and professional experience that provides the incumbent with the requisite knowledge, skills and ability to successfully perform the job.
  • Master's Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Master of Science in Nursing.
  • Minimum of 5 years Progressive growth in healthcare analytics, supply chain analytics, contract administration, procurement or other industry supply chain management /contracting.
  • Minimum of 2 years Leadership experience.
  • Experience and demonstrated proficiency with the use of MS Office.
  • Experience with Lawson Materials Management information system (MMIS) or other system preferred.
  • Experience with the use of change management tools preferred.
  • Certified Materials & Resources Professional preferred.

  • Knowledge of market conditions which impact contract performance and value.
  • Ability to speak with diplomacy in working with customers and ensure service excellence.
  • Ability to negotiate multiple solutions.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Sedentary work.
  • Predominantly operates in an office environment.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $98,400 – $147,600 annually. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
