Engineering Recruiter (US/Canadian Recruitment) | Remote | MST Shift


We're growing—and we’re looking for an experienced Engineering Recruiter to join our team on a contract to start. This role supports our clients in Canada, hiring for engineering and functional roles across heavy industrial sectors like oil & gas, utilities, mining, nuclear, and construction.


Location: Remote (Anywhere in India)

Shift: MST (7:30 PM – 4:30 AM IST)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage end-to-end recruitment for engineering and functional roles, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and placing candidates.
  • Client Support: Work closely with clients to understand their recruitment needs and provide top talent solutions for a wide range of roles, including Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Project Engineers, Engineering Project Managers, Project Controllers, Project Controls Coordinators, Supply Chain Managers, Change Managers, Instructional Designers, Accounting Professionals, HR Professionals, Logistics, Warehouse Personnel, Legal and Compliance Specialists, and Skilled Trades.
  • Industry Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of heavy industrial sectors such as oil & gas, utilities, metals and mining, nuclear, and construction to attract qualified candidates for specialized roles.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize multiple sourcing channels such as LinkedIn RPS, indeed, Monster, and ATS platforms to source and engage top-tier candidates.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial candidate screenings, including interviews, skills assessments, and reference checks to ensure a strong fit for client needs.
  • Collaboration: Work autonomously while maintaining regular communication with hiring managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on the recruitment pipeline.
  • Reporting: Provide timely updates on recruiting activity, candidate pipeline, and hiring progress.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in engineering and/or functional roles within heavy industrial sectors such as oil & gas, utilities, metals and mining, nuclear, or construction.
  • Engineering & Functional Recruiting Expertise: Strong understanding of both engineering roles (Mechanical, Electrical, Project Engineers, etc.) and functional roles (Supply Chain, Change Management, Instructional Design, Accounting, HR, Logistics, Warehouse, Legal and Compliance, Clerical, and Skilled Trades).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage with candidates and clients at all levels.
  • Tools & Technology: Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster, and other recruitment platforms.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work on the MST shift to align with client needs across Canada
