Construction Lien Specialist Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research to identify property owners, contractors, subcontractors, and other relevant parties in construction projects. Use various tools and methods to verify and compile accurate data.
Verification and Compliance: Ensure all construction notices and mechanic’s liens comply with local, state, and federal laws.
Document Management: Organize, prepare, and manage legal documentation related to lien filings and maintain a comprehensive database.
Continuous Learning: Stay informed about changes in construction laws and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
3-5 years of experience doing extensive internet research.
Experience with construction process, permit, construction notices, and mechanics liens in multiple US States.
Strong understanding of construction law and regulations.
Strong basic computer (MS Office & Google Suite, Zoom, Slack, etc.) and phone skills.
Proficiency with standard business applications and additional operational applications.
Experience and demonstrated comfort working in a customer-facing role.
Pay Rate Range: $24.00-36.00 per hour, DOE
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
