ROLE
Training Specialist (Virtual Trainer) for a custom Payer/Provider Insurance system in one or several of the following areas: Care Management (CM), Utilization Management (UM), or Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS).
Skill Requirements
Translate self-acquired knowledge into clear, engaging training sessions tailored to diverse learner needs and experience levels.
Familiarity with adult learning principles and the ability to adapt content for virtual delivery.
Comfortable navigating and demonstrating clinical technology platforms or similar software in a live training environment.
Proven ability to lead / faciliate engaging, interactive training sessions using platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.
Demonstrate initiative and adaptability by mastering new features or updates and incorporating them into training content with minimal guidance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey complex information and respond to learner questions in real time.
Ability to manage group dynamics, encourage participation, and handle disruptions or technical issues smoothly.
Instructional design/development experience is a plus
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or learning and development—healthcare and payer experience is required.
Expertise in instructional design models and adult learning principles.
Proven experience building/developing and facilitating virtual training programs using modern tools and methodologies.
Strong communication and presentation skills—able to explain complex topics clearly and confidently.
Ability to manage projects independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with training tools and platforms (e.g., PowerPoint, Articulate, LMS).
