Director of Sales (US)

Our client a global leader in the supply of localization solutions, is looking for a Director of Sales in the US. The primary function of the Director of Sales is to leverage all means at their disposal to create new, sustainable and profitable revenue streams for our client.

We are looking for a high achieving, exceptional, professional, driven and focused sales leader with experience of closing big ticket sales in an international business environment.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Devise and execute a personal plan and prioritize sales activities and customer / prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including profitability and sales targets
  • Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, new business, sales, and other matters related to profitable new revenue generation
  • Provide feedback to the business in order to optimize quality of service, business growth, and ultimate client satisfaction
  • Represent Vistatec at all times in a manner befitting the values and ethos of a respected, global professional services organization
  • Identify, qualify, manage and close sales opportunities
  • Report on all relevant sales activity to the CRO as required
  • Lead all tender or proposal activities, engaging the appropriate resources where necessary, generating a professional and timely response to the client
  • Support and leverage field marketing, product launches, product promotions and other lead or revenue generating activities
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
  • Lead, motivate and energize internal and external team members to produce a winning sales effort
  • Function as a fully integrated member of the sales team at all times, including activities for the benefit of the whole team
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions as necessary to perform duties and aid business development


Requirements
  • Ideally 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Integrity, Ambition & Vision
  • Creative intelligence and a passion for customer success
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience of developing and maintaining multi-million-dollar client portfolios
  • Third level qualification
  • Formal sales training, preferably CCS or Miller-Heiman
  • Consultative sales experience preferably within the localization industry
  • Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills
  • Proven and demonstrable record of achievement in a new business environment
  • Experience in negotiating and closing sales at executive level
  • Ability to manage commercial tender process and complex quotations to successful completion
  • Competency with standard productivity tools and familiarity with CRM solutions, preferably Salesforce.com;
  • Effective time and personal productivity management.
  • AI Experience & knowledge a plus
