The Associate Network Engineer will support the planning, implementation and troubleshooting of network and IT infrastructure solutions for a diverse client base. This is a hands-on client-facing role where you'll gain exposure to enterprise technologies while under the guidance of senior engineers. The Associate Network Engineer should be passionate about providing excellent customer service through creating partnerships, promoting sustainability, and offering creative solutions to network challenges. 

Requirements

  • Deploy and configure network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, access points). 
  • Follow detailed design and implementation plans under senior supervision. 
  • Document as-built configurations and contribute to project closeout documentation. 
  • Provide support for client issues post-deployment. 
  • Assist with root cause analysis and troubleshooting escalations. 
  • Assist with gathering and documenting technical requirements during discovery sessions. 
  • Assist senor engineers in solution implementation planning. 
  • Participate in internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing meetings. 
  • Assist with the creation of technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-based articles.  
  • Actively pursue industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Juniper JNCIA. 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to our service offerings 

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in a related Information Technology role. 
  • Experience with configuration, installation, troubleshooting, supporting network equipment, wireless access points & firewall policies across different platforms. 
  • Detailed oriented and organized. 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills and abilities. 
  • Excellent documentation skills using Microsoft Office and Visio. 
  • Ability to travel. 
  • Ability to learn new and unfamiliar technologies and products independently (using documentation and online resources). 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team. 
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines for deliverables. 
  • Entry-Level certifications (e.g. CCNA, JNCIA, CompTIA Network+) preferred.  
  • Ability to travel up to 40-50%.
