Job Description
The Construction Project Manager manages a wide variety of projects ranging in size and complexity by assisting in the development of appropriate business cases, outlining costs, budgets, resources, time frames and any other related requirements, such as technical and functional specifications. In addition to that they oversee the development of real estate for one or multiple Regions and supporting Operations in their business needs. This is a remote role.
Responsibilities
Analyze, develop and recommend project options with cost, schedule and resource implications
Manage client relationships in a professional and proactive manner and provide highly specialized support to the organization, primarily related to the project management process. Negotiate with multiple client groups regarding deliverables and milestone, and provide a high level of customer service and client management to all client groups.
Provide timely project and executive summaries as well as on going project status reporting. Control and maintain project documentation
Review all budgets, schedules and deliverables to ensure projects are on schedule, budget and in accordance to the project plan.
Ensure that RBG expectations are met or exceeded on all projects
Develop and implement quality control program
Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather or emergencies at the construction site
Investigate damage, accidents or delays at the site to ensure proper procedures are being carried out
Requires a goal oriented, independent, self-motivated individual who possesses the ability to capably and efficiently manage multiple activities/responsibilities contemporaneously in a multi-state territory with strict deadlines.
Basic legal knowledge of purchase, lease and contract provisions (as it applies to construction management).
Strong analytical, technical and negotiating skills as demonstrated by background in real estate construction/development, facility maintenance, building systems and project management.
Manage the process of identifying, estimating and implementing repair and maintenance activities for branch locations.
May be responsible for project entitlements, with city, county, state and other government entities-including presentations.
Displays strong work ethic and high degree of personal integrity
Performs other various duties as required from time to time
Involves overnight travel to job site(s) and other off-hour responsibilities.
This position may involve strict deadlines and requires a strong attention to detail
Qualifications
